Maryland Clinical Supervision

Supervision Should Be More Than Checking a Box

You need the hours. But you also need someone you can talk honestly with about the cases that stay with you, the decisions you're unsure about, and the kind of counselor you're becoming. Barbara brings more than 25 years of clinical experience to those conversations.

A Place to Talk About the Work

The case you keep thinking about after the session. The client you’re not sure how to reach. The boundary you’re questioning. The moment when what you learned in school doesn’t quite match what is sitting across from you.

That’s where supervision matters. Barbara brings more than 25 years of counseling and clinical leadership experience to the supervision relationship. Having worked as a counselor and served as a Clinical Director, Regional Director, and Executive Director, she understands the realities of the work—not just the theory behind it.

Barbara is curious, direct, and practical. She asks questions, offers perspective, and draws on her experience to help you think through difficult cases, strengthen your clinical judgment, and grow in confidence as a counselor.

Structure & Setting

Individual Supervision
Your supervision time is your time.

Individual supervision gives you the freedom to talk openly about your clinical work without competing for time in a group. Bring the cases you’re wrestling with, the questions you’re hesitant to ask, or the situations where you’re simply not sure what to do next.

Barbara provides supervision online, making it convenient to meet from anywhere in Maryland. You’ll have dedicated one-on-one time for honest conversation, practical guidance, and developing the judgment, confidence, and clinical skills you need as a counselor.
